The BankAmerica Foundation Jobs & Careers Center provides practical information on topics such as job-hunting skills, exploring careers, education sources and employment agencies.   Our helpful staff will offer information services at the Business, Science and Technology Center reference desk on the 4th floor of the Main Library. 

We also offer:

• A job seeker's computer lab, Mondays 11-2 PM & Tuesdays 10-1 PM, 5th Floor Computer Training Room where you can use the computers for three hours straight without interruption for job seeking tasks.
  
Special & Monthly job related events & classes. 

• Limited civil service exam preparation books. Look for them in the library's online catalog.
  
• And a vast collection of books and electronic materials on apprenticeship and internship opportunities, cover letters, résumés, success at work, vocational guidance, and more. 
• The databases are available in the library to all and remotely to SFPL card/pin holders only. Go to SFPL's Articles and Databases Business category page for a full list of all of the business databases.   
• Databases relating specifically to Jobs & Careers are under the Jobs & Careers catagory, and also available in the library and remotely to SFPL card/pin holders.
